Tsavorite Guide
Tsavorite is a green variety of grossular garnet, named after the Tsavo region of Kenya and found in East Africa. It scores around 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale and is known for a bright, lively green.
Colour
Tsavorite ranges from light to deep forest green. Its brilliance comes from a high refractive index, so a well cut stone sparkles strongly.
